BRIDGEWATER, Mark J. Drost, 62, passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2025, at his home. He was born on October 31, 1962, in Presque Isle, the son of James and Lauradeane (Hotham) Drost.

Mark spent much of his life faithfully caring over everything on many farms he devoted himself too. His career as a farmer started when he was just 5 years old on the family farm in Bridgewater. Mark enjoyed spending his time tinkering on his pull truck "Foolz Gold" and his Massey-Ferguson '65 tractor. Mark loved his children and grandchildren more than anything and found immense joy in taking his grandchildren snow sledding and 4-wheeling. Mark lived life to the fullest with family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, his mother Lauradeane Daigle of Florida, his father James E. Drost of Houlton, his wife Brenda (Delong) Drost of Bridgewater, his son Brad W. and wife Angie Drost and their children Blake, Bryson, and Beckett all of Princeton, his daughter Brittany A. Drost and her children Caiden Drost and Amiyah Merriam of Bridgewater, his sister Rainie J. and he husband Bob Aucoin of Florida and their children Ryan and his wife Sarah Aucoin and Robbie Aucoin all of Houlton, his brother in law Bret and his wife Dixie Delong, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Smith Cemetery in Bridgewater. Service will begin at 1:00PM with Pastor Steve Izzo officiating. To share condolences and memories online visit www.bowersfuenral.com
