Krueger-Nimsgern Funeral & Cremation Services - TomahawkMark Edward Eisenman, 79, of Tomahawk, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones, on February 17, 2026. Mark was born on September 1, 1946, in Tomahawk, the son of Winand and Ruth (Balck) Eisenman. On June 15, 1970, he was united in marriage to Dorothy “George” McGowan in Janesville, Wisconsin.
Mark proudly served his country in the United States Army for 22 years, retiring as a First Sergeant. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post in Tomahawk. Following his military service, Mark worked for 16 years at Louisiana Pacific. In his younger years, he was employed at Andy’s Sport Shop. For over two decades, he dedicated his time to serving others as a member of the Lions Club and Meals on Wheels delivery driver, roles he truly cherished. Mark loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Dorothy “George” Eisenman; his daughter, Sarah (Dana) Miller of Tomahawk; his sons, Mark (Christa) Eisenman Jr. of Anchorage, Alaska, and James (Lindsay) Eisenman of Tomahawk; his brother, Robert (Sharon) Eisenman of Tomahawk, and sister, Ann (Bob) Jelinek; sister-in-law, Carol Eisenman and 6 grandchildren, Jacob, Trey, Sadie, Mark III, Sloane, and Ryker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Jeanne Eisenman; and his brother, Richard Eisenman.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Krueger-Nimsgern Funeral Home in Tomahawk, with Deacon Dave Bablick officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. followed by Military Honors.
In honor of Mark, donations may be made to the Tomahawk Lions Club.
