Mark Emmens Obituary
Mark C. Emmens, 77 of Ashland passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in his home.
He was born on February 10, 1946 in Ashland the son of the Adrian and Madaline (nee Manbeck) Emmens.
Mark was a 1964 graduate of Ashland High School. Following graduation; he proudly served for more than 11 years in the Ohio National Guard, achieving Sargent status.
He married the former Marsha K. Karsmizki on June 26, 1976.
Mark worked as a Maintenance Manager and Project Engineer for more than 40 years.
Throughout his life, he was an avid John Deere enthusiast. He enjoyed woodworking, boating, fishing & camping at his favorite fishing hole, Lake Erie. He was also a huge dog lover.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Mrs. Marsha "Mini" Emmens of Ashland; one son, Rich (Amber) Emmens of Polk; two step grandchildren; two sisters, Donna (George) Brown and Nancy (Kenny) Heichel; a brother-in-law, Tommy Reischman; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mark is preceded in death by one son, Robert Emmens; and one sister, Adrianne Reischman.
In keeping with Mark's wishes, no services will be held.
