Mark Evans Obituary
Born March 10, 1960 in Sewickley PA, he is preceded in death by parents Maxine Marie McKimmie Evans and Robert Ottis Evans, survived by brother Lance MacKimmie Evans of Boulder CO, and by numerous loving, supportive cousins in the Teuteberg and Long families of Shaler PA and the Knoll family of Clarkston MI.
Raised among lifelong family friends in Bradford Woods PA, Mark spent his entire adult life and career devoted to the restaurant business, proud of his achievements in many roles, making his operation a success, and in sharing his deep experience with others under his tutelage and management.
A kind, hardworking, honest, and jovial soul, Mark enjoyed his Penguins and Steelers, wry banter with coworkers, friends and family, taking pride in his traditional values, discipline, and independence.
Fond memories remain with those whose lives he touched. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Glenshaw Presbyterian Church, 300 Glenn Ave, Glenshaw PA, 15116. No public visitation or internment is planned, please text or call Lance at +1-303-589-1490 to RSVP for a casual gathering of life and dinner, 5:30pm Thursday January 15 at a restaurant Mark favored, near Mars. Definitely had some funny moments with Mark, like him being pied in the face for an appetizer contest and just being goofy. We missed him when we retired and we'll miss him even more.
This was my last Halloween with everyone before I left valley dairy and you could always find mark with that hat on. Praying for you all. Sorry for your loss.

Mark was a hard working man. He stood up for me, gave advice, & really cared for the people & place he worked with. Not many managers like that anymore. I had respect for him. There were some funny times. Like the hour he spent detangling Christmas lights at work just to plug them in & find they didn´t work anymore haha. We missed him when he retired & we´ll miss him even more now. Prayers
