Mark Ferguson, 78 of Fishers, Indiana joyfully entered the Gates of Heaven on August 10, 2024. Mark was born on May 31, 1946 to the late Ernest and Annabelle (Ringer) Ferguson in Sullivan Indiana.

Mark is survived by his wife, Gaile; daughter, Jenny Cox (Sam); son Chris Ferguson; grandchildren, Morgan, Mason, Alicia and Kyle; and sister Belinda (Bill) Sills. In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brother, Mike (Joyce) Ferguson.

Mark and Gaile were married at the age of 19 in Gallatin, Tennessee. They recently celebrated 59 years of marriage on July 31. Mark thought of his family first and foremost and was tremendously proud of his four grandchildren.

Mark started his career as a tool maker serving an apprenticeship at Richardson Rubber in Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 19 and most recently as a Plastics Injection Molding Manager at Bullard in Cynthiana, KY for 17 years before retirement.

Mark enjoyed fast cars and fishing. Sunday afternoons were reserved for wheeling around the garage detailing his latest corvette or on the lake in his Bass Tracker. He would spend hours upon hours doing both and when it was lunch time, you could find him at the table eating a burger (pickle and onion only, no cheese) reading his latest book.

Mark had a love for the Lord and nurtured a personal relationship with his Savior. He was a kind man with a gentle spirit. His last year of life was full of health trials but he fought the good fight and remained gracious and courteous to everyone he met and who cared for him. He continued to spend days on the patio enjoying nature and wildlife. We will carry you with us always. Until we meet again...

A celebration of life will be attended by family at a later date.
