Mark J. Forest

Mark J. Forest, 37 of Rochester, NH, passed away tragically on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Wentworth Douglass Hospital.
He was born August 29, 1985, in Rochester, the son of Nelson and Sandra (Brooks) Forest. Following high school, he pursued a career in the electrical field for many years.
He is survived by his wife Brittany (Breton) Forest; six children Logan Forest, Olivia Forest, Maddax Forest, Asher Forest, Mackenzie Breton, and Emma Froehling. His father Nelson Forest and wife Lorna Forest, his sister Kimberly Forest-Gates and fiancé Dennis McCann, and his brother Matthew Forest and wife Annabelle Forest. His father-in-law Roland Breton and wife Sandy Breton, grandmother-in-law Linda Rioux, mother-in-law Melynda Breton, sister-in-law Breanna Breton and husband Steven Boulard, and brother-in-law T.J. Grenert. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends whom he loved very much. Mark was very passionate about his family, especially spending quality time with his children and making special memories with each one of them.
Mark had many hobbies including carpentry work, landscaping, cooking, riding his motorcycle, as well as custom LED lighting work. With his various talents, he was known to make something out of nothing. Mark was hardworking, protective, devoted, full of love, and had a way with his words.
He is predeceased by his mother Sandra (Brooks) Forest, paternal grandparents Frank and Doris Forest, and maternal grandmother Dorothy Brooks.
In lieu of flowers, the family will be starting a scholarship fund to honor him and his passion for electrical work for an individual pursuing an electrical trade. For more information, please contact markforestscholarshipfund@gmail.com.
The celebration of life for Mark will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Mitchell Hill at the Roberge Center, 6 Bridge Street, Rochester, NH 03867 from 5 pm-8 pm. Please no press during this time.
