Mark Anthony Fuller passed away peacefully at his home on May 18, 2025, at the age of 63.
Born on August 12, 1961, in San Antonio, Texas, to Robert G. and Marjoria A. Fuller, Mark spent his early childhood in San Antonio before the family moved to Oklahoma City in 1966. It was there that Mark grew up, developing a deep love for the outdoors and a lifelong commitment to faith, family, and service. As a young man, he was active in his church youth group, loved sports, and enjoyed time outside-whether hunting and fishing with his dad and brother or working through his lawn service business. His connection to nature was a constant throughout his life.
Mark graduated from Putnam City Schools and later earned his degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK. He returned to his roots in education by teaching science at Western Oaks Middle School, where he spent 37 years of his teaching career. He was deeply committed to his students and coworkers, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of many.
On July 25, 1987, Mark married Lori Bohlier of Oklahoma City. Together they shared 38 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered around love, faith, and family. Their greatest joy came with the birth of their daughter, Keri Rene'. Mark's love for Keri was evident in every word he spoke about her, his face lighting up whenever she was mentioned. One of his favorite things was listening to and watching her perform.
Mark never met a stranger. His warmth and genuine care for others led him to serve as a deacon at Council Road Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member. After retiring, he also devoted time to visiting residents at the Grand Skilled Nursing Facility in Bethany, bringing comfort and companionship. He loved being around people and had a natural way of making others feel seen and valued. A man of deep faith, Mark especially enjoyed reading, with the Bible being his favorite book.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marjoria (Moore) Fuller, and his grandparents, Jack and Hattie Fuller, and Howard and Helen Moore.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lori, of the home; his daughter, Keri Rene' and Matthew Thomas, of New York City; his brother, Doug Fuller and sister-in-law, Kathy, of Edmond; nephew, Joseph Fuller, wife, Christy and their children, Bekah and Jackson, of Broken Arrow; and niece, Hannah Hankey and husband, Seth and children, Riker and Rhett, of Amorita; in-laws, Bill and Beverly Bohlier, Oklahoma City; sister-in-law, Michelle and husband Steve Taylor and nephew Ben, of Heath, TX; and nephews, Jake and wife Shelby Taylor, children, Willow and Isaac, Newcastle; and Eric and wife Sydney Taylor, Mission, KS.
Mark will always be remembered for his quiet strength, patience, devotion to family, his beautiful smile, gregarious laugh, passion for teaching, and his big love of life. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched-through his years of faithful service, and the deep love he poured into his family and those around him.
While there is a gaping hole left in our hearts, we find peace in knowing there is rejoicing in Heaven.
A gathering to celebrate Mark will be held on Wednesday, June 4 at 2:00pm in the gymnasium of Western Oaks Middle School, 7200 NW 23rd, Bethany, Oklahoma. Please feel free to dress casually and wear green and gold in honor of Mark's career at Western Oaks.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Mark's memory to:

Mr. Fuller had a beautiful soul. I knew him when I was in Jr. High and recently reconnected with him at the YMCA. He was always so genuinely engaged and kind when we spoke. My deepest condolences to his family.

Mr. Fuller had a heart full of enough love for each of us and even more! He was full of energy and had such a passion for life. I will forever remember his laugh and his ornery smile that could be seen miles away!

I just heard the sad news. Mark has been a mainstay in my life for the past 8 years. He helped me when I was a brand new widow to cope with life on my own. I loved him and I will miss him terribly , Sue Tiller
