Mark Edwin Gaskill

Mark Edwin Gaskill, of Santa Fe, Tennessee was born on March 30, 1958 in Sacramento, California. He passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2023. Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Julie Gaskill; his parents, Robert "Bob" and Joanne Gaskill; his brother, Steve Gaskill; sister-in-law, Carrie Phelps; and brother-in-law, Travis Horner.
Mark had a heart of gold and was the kindest person to everyone. He never met a stranger, and loved telling about all the new people he met and how they connect to everyone else in his life. He was a kind and giving soul that would do anything for you. Everyone that knew Mark loved him.
Mark is survived by four children; Sydney Gaskill, Josh (Julie) Gaskill, Katarina (Jonathan) Shoulders, and Adam (Erin) Gaskill; his fiance, Becky Watkins; three siblings, Mike (Debbie) Gaskill, Craig Gaskill, and Karen Horner; brother in-law, Todd Phelps; and a whole gander of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of life will be held at Mark and Becky's home in Santa Fe, TN, 2909 Fly Road, on June 17th at 4:00 pm with a Pot-Luck Dinner. Remembrances may be made however you desire; a prayer, a hug, or even make a stranger your friend. The family would love for you to share with us your stories of Mark, so your memories of him can live on forever. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the trust being set up for Sydney's future needs. Details of the trust will be available here at a later date.
