Mark F. Age 95. July 8th, 2025. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Gallo). Devoted father of Mark (Patty) Giunta and Anthony (Jennifer) Giunta. Grandfather of Tara (Michael) Riccardi, Natalie Giunta, Maria (Ryan) Cassidy, Greta Giunta, Christina Giunta and Anthony Giunta. Great grandfather of Rocco, Mina, Ava and Trey. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Mark was born on June 12th, 1930 to the late Charles and Celestina Giunta in Philadelphia, PA. Predeceased by Anna Giunta, Victoria Longo, Joel (Josephine) Giunta, Frank (Suzie) Giunta and Anthony Giunta.
Mark served in the US Army from 1947- 1949. He was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Union for 30 years. Mark resided in the Bella Vista area for over 70 years with his wife of 71 years. Mark will be remembered for his story telling, infamous sayings to his grandchildren and neighborly greetings on South Warnock Street.
A VISITATION with his family will be held on Tuesday, July 15th from 9:00 AM to 10:30AM at THE MONTI RAGO FUNERAL HOME 2531-35 S BROAD ST, PHILADELPHIA, PA. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made to the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine for Research of Muscular Dystrophy at 3400 Civic Center Blvd, South Pavillion 2nd Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
