Carol Giunta Obituary
A native of Jamestown, she was born May 8, 1940, the daughter of the late Leo and Josephine Pizzo LaBarbera.
She was a 1958 graduate of Jamestown High School.
She loved to dance and entertain, which led her to arrange sock hops at her family home growing up. Carol was well known around town for making the largest meatballs!
Surviving are three children Michael Giunta, Jr. of Jamestown, James Giunta of Grand Island, NY and Jacqueline (Geoffrey) Jagdfeld of Somers, NY and her former husband Michael Giunta of Jamestown.
In keeping with Carol Jean's wishes there will be no funeral service or visitation.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
