Mark Good of East Bridgewater passed away peacefully at home on August 30th after a brave fight with leukemia. He leaves behind his soulmate and best friend, Sandy Walters; his two children, Daniel and his wife, Amber, of Wilmington, VT, and Renee Nestor of Bourne, MA; and seven beautiful grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Alan and his wife, Shona, of Oklahoma; Randy of Weymouth; Craig and his wife, Cindy, of Nevada; and Kathy and her husband, Joe Vigue, of South Carolina. He now joins his mother, Mary; father, Edward; and sister, Chrissy, in heaven.

Mark spent his career in facilities, beginning in the Canton school system and retiring from the Waltham school system. Over the course of his career, he learned how to fix just about anything and became known by family and friends as the go-to "Mr. Fix-It."

Mark will be remembered for the way he embraced life. Incredibly stubborn-but always in the best way-he was passionate and never backed down from a challenge. A thrill-seeker at heart, he loved jet skiing, fast cars, and building fires big enough to light up the yard.

He also cherished the simple joys in life. His love of dogs was unmatched. He enjoyed watching sports, visiting breweries, and taking trips to Vermont, always with Sandy by his side. Most often, you could find him outdoors-kayaking, floating down the Saco, or relaxing at a campground. His family will think of him with every Bruins and Patriots win, every Coors Light (more commonly referred to by Mark as "water"), and each summer bonfire.

Mark's legendary passion for life, loyalty, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Mark Good to support cancer research and patient care at: http://danafarber.jimmyfund.org/goto/MarkJGood
