Mark Eugene Goodan

Mark Eugene Goodan, age 73, of Ellijay, Georgia, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026. He was born on December 29, 1952, in Jackson, Ohio.

Mark devoted more than 35 years of his life to serving others as a Registered Pharmacist. Throughout his career, he was known for his compassion, professionalism, and dedication to patient care. He took great pride in helping others and was respected not only for his knowledge but also for his willingness to mentor and encourage those around him.

A loving husband, father, and friend, Mark was known for his warm personality, generous spirit, and sense of humor. He had a gift for bringing light and comfort to others and will be remembered for the kindness he extended to family, friends, colleagues, and all who knew him.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ann Goodan, and his brothers, Timothy and James Goodan.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Julie Goodan; his son, Jonathan Goodan (Beth); his mentee, Justin Bivens; his many grandchildren, and a wide circle of family members, friends, and those whose lives he touched through his guidance and friendship. Mark Eugene Goodan will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 31, 2026: Episcopal Church of the Holy Family 202 Griffith Rd, Jasper, GA 30143.

A Graveside service and Inurnment will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in the Highland Cemetery, Williamsburg, Kentucky.
