Mark Hale, age 58 of Ohatchee, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Marcy Hale; sons, Owen Hale (Kirsty Varner) and Briley Hale (Emma Dollar); step daughter, Keri Harris (Brett); grandchildren, Taelynn Hale and Bella Grant; step mother, Linda Hale; sister, Cindy Humphrey; and numerous cousins.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents Floyd Hale and Linda Hale.
Mark was a graduate of Ohatchee High School. He was involved in various charities throughout the community, including the local schools, where he was a supporter of the FFA. He was very active in his son's sports, participating in the boosters and Friday morning breakfasts. Mark had a joy for farming and farm animals at his home farm, M&M Farms, where you could find him out feeding the goats. "Bulls on the Lake" rodeo was his passion, but he also enjoyed being out on the river with his boat enjoying watching the kids swim. He also loved being his own boss. He was married to Marcy for 15 years; they enjoyed traveling together on cruises, to Gatlinburg and the beach. He will truly be missed.
The family will accept friends and guest starting at 3PM with a Memorial service following at 4PM on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Oak Bowery Baptist Church. Attendees are encouraged to wear casual or Western attire in honor of Mr. Hale's love for farm animals and farming.

All of us at Wounded Warrior Alabama, Combat Park, and Veterans Trade Day will miss Mark Hale and what he brought to our park the last few years. He had become friends with many people while setting up our annual Rodeo event. Even while battling his illness, he came out and made the Rodeo one of our most popular events! Our condolences to his wonderful family!
