Mark David Harry, age 47, of Beavercreek, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Thursday, November 20, 2025. Born on April 1, 1978, in Kettering, Ohio, Mark was the beloved son of David Harry and Christine Darr, and the cherished stepson of K-Ann Harry.
Family was the center of Mark’s world. He devoted his heart to his daughters, Taylor and Ava, and embraced his stepchildren—McKenzie, Lexi, and William—as his own. Mark shared a deep and beautiful love with his fiancée, Heidi, the woman he hoped to walk through life with, hand in hand, forever. He took immense pride in being “Papaw” to his precious grandchildren, Ellie, Emerie ,and Jaxson.
Mark loved being outdoors with his family and friends —hiking, fishing, and “creeking.” Those simple moments brought him joy and connection. He looked up to his father in countless ways and always tried to make him proud.
Known for his compassionate spirit and the smile that lit up every room, Mark touched the lives of countless people. Those fortunate enough to know him understood what a rare and remarkable soul he was. Though the world feels dimmer without him, his presence will live on in the hearts, memories, and stories of those he held close.
Mark is survived by his parents, David D. Harry and Christine Marie Darr; and his sisters, Cindy Miller and Amy Strong. Each held a special place in his life and will forever carry his memory with love and gratitude.
The space left by Mark’s passing is one that cannot be filled, yet his laughter, kindness, and unwavering love continue to bind us together—just as he always hoped. His absence is immeasurable, and his memory will be cherished eternally.
Mark also leaves behind many other dear family members and friends whose lives he touched in lasting and meaningful ways.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 9th, from 4–8 p.m. at the Milton Athletic Club, 640 Cosler Dr., Dayton, OH 45403.
