Mark W. Hartman was born May 30, 1948 in Topeka, Kansas to Paul W. Hartman and Mary L. Hartman. Mark is survived by his sister Carol, his wife Pam, son Matthew, daughter Rebecca and grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Abby, and Alexander. Mark died March 9, 2024 at home with family by his side. Mark is a Navy Veteran and served from 1969-1973. Mark worked his way up the ranks within Goodyear from building tires on 3rd shift to becoming a corporate training manager and traveling around the world for the company.  Mark retired at age 55 after 30 years with Goodyear.  Mark and Pam met in high-school, married in 1969 and would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on March 14, 2024. Mark and Pam loved to go camping and spent many years traveling to the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York to spend a few weeks now and again nestled in the woods next to a lake. Mark with a fishing pole and Pam with a book, enjoying God's creation and eachother. Pam was the love of his life, his sweetie. Mark's kids and grandkids were his joy. If you had a minute he would love to share with you how proud he was of them, and how very much he loved them all. Mark was a Christian his whole life, he knew the love of God, and Jesus was his Savior. Mark's four grand kids want to say "thank you for being the best Poppie.

Thank you for the vacations, thank you for loving us and always making us a priority in your life." Matthew and Rebecca want to say what an honor it was to have had him for their Dad. "We love you so much and we miss you. You are healthy and whole now. No more pain, no more wheelchair walker. We know you had to go, don't worry about Momma, we got her. Thanks Dad for showing us how to love, how to love as a parent and as a spouse. We couldn't have had a better role model." Pam wants to say "I wasn't ready to let you go, my head knows it was time, but my heart hasn't caught up yet. 60 years with you wasn't long enough. You were never a burden, you were my best friend. I love you Punkin," and in her mind she will always hear Mark's reply, "I love you, my punkin' seed."  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
