Mark Allen Herman Jr. “Marky” took his final journey on August 31, 2025.
Mark was born on March 1, 2000 in Watervliet, Michigan to Mark Allen Herman Sr. of Benton Harbor, Michigan and Jennifer Pagels of Marshall, Michigan.
Even at an early age, Marky brought laughter and smiles to the lives around him. Always curious and finding friends wherever he went. He was also a gentle and loving soul, holding his people and animals close.
Mark was a foreman at Great Lakes Bins and enjoyed going to work with the people he cared about and called friends. He was also a probationary firefighter at Indian Lake Volunteer Fire Department, which made him very proud. He was dedicated and loved his firefighter family.
Mark is survived by his parents, Mark and Jennifer; sister, Leanna Pagels of Bridgman; brother, Keegan Huffaker of Ames, Iowa; grandparents, Robert Pagels and Maude Moore of Eau Claire, Michigan and Kathy Gaston of Benton Harbor, Michigan; girlfriend, Harley Drummond of Dowagiac, Michigan, and many other cherished friends.
Mark was preceded in death by his brother, Kameron Huffaker.
