Mark E. Johnson age 65, of Caldwell, OH passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital in Beaver, PA. He was born November 8, 1959 in Cambridge, OH son of the late Sherman and Lucille Bond Johnson.
He was a 1978 graduate of Shenandoah High School. Mark enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, hunting and shooting. He worked for many years as a carpenter. Mark selflessly gave the gift of life by choosing to be an organ donor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister and sister Thelma Caldwell.
Those left to cherish his memory are his three sons Jason (Jennifer) Johnson of Ostrander, OH, Wesley (Tristin) Johnson of Zanesville, OH, and Cody (Nicole) Johnson of Chowchilla, CA; 7 grandchildren; and brother-in-law Harold Caldwell. He is also survived by many friends.
The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation Friday, November 7, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A private family inurnment will be held in Halley’s Ridge Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest next to his parents. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Mark's Honor to the Center for Organ Recovery & Education
