Reba L. Farley age 90, of Sarahsville, OH passed away Monday, March 9, 2026 at OhioHealth Southeastern Medical Center in Cambridge, OH. She was born November 16, 1935 in Caldwell, OH, daughter of the late Clayton and Rosamond Merritt Landaker.
She retired from Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center following many years of helping to care for her community. Reba was a member of the Sarahsville United Methodist Church in Sarahsville, OH. She was very active and a member of the Golden 60’s at the Stop Nine Church of Christ, the Widows Group, and the Happy Hens. Reba will be remembered as an avid seamstress and quilter.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Carl E. Farley Sr., whom she married November 28, 1952 and who passed away November 20, 2008; two sons Christopher Farley and Carl “Ed” Farley Jr.; two sisters Erlene (Gerald) Cain and Delores (Ronald) Glidden; brother Dale Landaker.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children Chawn (Gary) Stiers of Cumberland, OH, Ryan (Janet) Farley of Douglasville, PA, and Brian (Shawn) Farley of Bloomfield, OH; grandchildren Christina Arigoni, Karen Camp, Tasha Nicola, Bethany Hayes, Jessica Scott, Jacob Farley, Nathan Farley, Wade Farley, Ryan Elizabeth Farley, Jenna Farley, and Jackson Farley; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law Delia Farley of Caldwell, OH and Judy Rodehaver-Farley of Guysville, OH; dear friend Irene Wilson of Sarahsville, OH. Reba is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends for a Graveside Service held on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Village View Cemetery in Sarahsville, OH, with Pastor Frank Miller officiating. Burial will follow and she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Carl.
