Mark Raymond Jones

Mark Raymond Jones, age 63 of Chesterfield, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 surrounded by family. He was born on July 5, 1960 to parents Franklin "Ray" D. Jones and Sylvia A. (Ciarlino) Jones in Detroit, Michigan. Mark was a proud musician, having played guitar since he was nine years old. He was a member of the cover band "Sweet Alice," who had been voted as ClickOnDetroit's "Best Cover Band" several years in a row. When he wasn't making music or playing with his band, Mark enjoyed listening to various genres of music, including metal and rock and roll. Mark also loved watching sports, especially hockey, and was a big Red Wings fan. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him, as well as by his "grandpuppies," Zuri and Kenzi.
Loving boyfriend of Denise Wolf for more than ten years. Dear father of Ann (Matt) Rockentine, Michelle Jones, Erica Palermo, and Shelby Wolf. Adored grandfather of Amber Jones, Theo Rockentine, and Layla Bauer. Cherished "soul brother" of Keith Goodwin. Loving son of Sylvia (Ciarlino) Jones and the late Ray Jones.
Per Mark's wishes, he will be cremated. Memorial Visitation for Mark will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2024 between 12:00 pm and 3:30 pm at Wasik Funeral Home - Gendernalik Chapel, located at 35259 Twenty-Three Mile Road, New Baltimore 48047. Memorial service in Mark's honor will take place on Saturday, February 3 at 2:00 pm, also at the funeral home.
