It is with heavy hearts that we share that our beloved brother, Uncle and friend, Mark Koelzer, went to be with the Lord in the morning hours of September 17th, 2025. While our hearts are grieving his passing, we take comfort in knowing he has joined his family in Heaven.

Born on April 16, 1957, he lived 68 years devoted to his family, his love for others, and his love for knowledge. He seemed to never stop learning; found joy and peace in talking all things history with those he was closest with, a trait he got from his mother. He was strong in his opinions, had a wealth of wisdom, and enjoyed every second of being with friends and family every chance he could. He was strong in his faith, took great pride in all the things his nephew and nieces did. When he wasn't driving all over the country for work, you could find him spending time with his family and those closest to him.

Mark loved his family deeply. He was always there for the people he cared about, looking out for them and caring for them. He wasn't just an Uncle to his nieces and nephew, and great nieces and nephews, but was a constant source of support and encouragement for all who came into contact with him. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Jeff Turman, nephew, Michael Turman, nieces Kara Reynolds, and Megan Machado, eight great nieces and nephews, and many cousins and additional family members. Our hearts will forever miss Mark, but his legacy will continue on.

"I will turn their mourning into joy. I will comfort them and give them gladness instead of sorrow." (Jeremiah 31:13)
