Robert Sousa Obituary
MAY 16, 1970 -MARCH 9, 2026
Robert F. Sousa (Robbie), 55, was born May 16, 1970, and passed away on March 9, 2026, after a lengthy illness.
Robbie attended Bakersfield High School and Bakersfield College before transferring to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, earning his Bachelor of Science Degree. He returned to Bakersfield and worked at Bolthouse Farms for almost 20 years.
Robbie loved sports and excelled in many. He played baseball and soccer in his youth and rugby and golf after college, but his first love was football, 60. He played 3 years in varsity at BHS and 2 years at BC. He was on the 1988 team that went undefeated and won the National JC championship.
Robbie is survived by his parents, Frank and Linda Sousa, his sister, Kim Andrews, niece Lexi Andrews, and nephew Brady Andrews. Robbie will be truly missed by his family and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 am, March 23, 2026, at Greenlawn Funeral Home Northeast, 3700 River Blvd, Bakersfield, CA.
