Mark Thomas Kolka, age 60, of Bay City, Michigan passed away after a lengthy illness on March 25, 2025 at McLaren Bay Region. Mark was born June 17, 1964 to the late Donald and Mary Kolka. On April 25, 1986, mark married the love of his life, Joy Lyn McEvers in Roscommon. Their union was blessed with four children; Janet Lyn (Juan) Gonzales, Elizabeth Kolka, Mark Kolka Jr. and Jeffrey (Kashara) Kolka; sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mark is also survived by his wife, Joy Lyn and his other family members, Donald Jr., Diane, Ray, Joe, Jim, Mike Kolka. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Kolka Sr. Mark enjoyed watching the “Golden Girls”, old cars and enjoyed his home life.

Memorial Liturgy will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2025 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Houghton Lake, Michigan with Committal following at Crest View Cemetery in Higgins Lake, Michigan. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Rolando Silva. Visitation will take place at the church on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of Mass.
