Mark Kubecki Obituary

Born September 3, 1964, in Latrobe, he was the son of the late John P. and Margaret B. (Ulishney) Kubecki.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed at Verizon for 20 years and then at Lowe's in Latrobe and Home Depot in Johnstown. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served for eight years. Mark enjoyed woodworking, hiking, and photography. In 2020, he received the gift of life through a liver transplant that allowed him more time with his family and friends.
Mark is survived by one daughter, Ashley L.R. Kubecki, of Latrobe; one brother, Michael J. Kubecki (Michelle), of Greensburg; one sister, Beth Ann Howell (Mark), of Latrobe; three grandchildren, Annabella, Lilly, and Jessica "Essie," and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visitations. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass at 10 am on Friday, November 21, 2025, at St. John the Evangelist Church, Latrobe with the Rev. E. George Saletrik as celebrant. Private interment will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Arrangements are being handled by the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home, LLC, 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe.
