Mark S. Litten, 57 of Ashland passed away Friday February 7, 2025 in Hospice of the Western
Reserve-Medina after a brief battle with brain cancer. He was born February 5, 1968 to Mary Beth
Thompson and the late Larry G. Litten.
He worked at the Beer Barrel in Ashland where he made many dear friends, including special friends
Dean/Tammy and Nate Emmons, Steve Hawk, Justin Garn and Justin Usher. Mark enjoyed hunting,
playing lottery, watching and feeding birds and working in his flower beds.
Mark is survived by his mother, Mary Beth (Glenn) Thompson of Jeromesville, his brothers, Barry
(Sandra) Litten of Ashland, Todd Litten of Jeromesville, sister-in-law, Diane Litten, nieces Stephanie
Litten, Kelsey (James) Keener, and Bobbi Jo (Bret) Orth all of Ashland, 2 great-nieces, step-siblings,
Terrie (Pete) Cato, Jeff (Lora) Thompson, and Mike (Sally) Thompson, nephew, J R Thompson and
niece, Brittany Thompson.
Mark was preceded in death by is father, Larry GG. Litten and his grandparents.
Visitation with family will be held Friday February 28, 2025 from 4-8 pm at Fickes Funeral Home in
Jeromesville. There will be no service. A Celebration of Mark's life will be held in the summer.
Memorial contributions in Mark's name may be directed to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5075
Windfall Rd. Medina, OH 44256.
