Mark J. Manginelli, 60, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on May 19, 2025, with his loving family by his side. Mark was born on February 14, 1965, in Newark, New Jersey. During Marks' teen years and along with his family, they moved to Hazlet, New Jersey in 1978, where he remained. Mark was a dedicated employee and enjoyed working for Rumson Board of Education as a custodian for the last twenty-six years.
Mark had a big heart and a gentle soul. His love for his family ran deep-it was the center of his life. He was a proud father and grandfather who cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren, whether it was sharing stories, exploring new places, or simply enjoying time together. He always made those around him feel loved and valued.
Mark was a hardworking man who found joy in life's simple pleasures: tending to his garden, walking along the beach, and spending time outdoors, especially when surrounded by family, friends, and the beauty of nature. Mark's one-of-a-kind sense of humor and infectious laugh could light up any room. His kindness, love, and steady presence touched countless lives, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mark is predeceased by his beloved parents, Joseph and Marion (Gordzielewski) Manginelli, his brother, Joseph Manginelli and a brother in law, Stephen Perfit. He is survived by his loving children, Mark J. Manginelli and his wife Diana, Michael J. Manginelli and his wife Cayla, Brianna Manginelli and her husband Christopher Lybargar, Alexa M. Manginelli and her fiancé Brandon Burns and Dominique V. Manginelli and her boyfriend, Joshua Levy, his caring sisters, Colette Perfit and Nicole Manginelli, his cherished grandchildren, Cael Lybargar, Nikolas Lybargar, Maison Lybargar and Cora Manginelli as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mark was a devoted, son, father, grandfather and brother. He will be greatly missed, always loved and never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
