Phyllis Manginelli, longtime resident of Stamford, CT, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the age of 68 years old.
Born in Stamford, CT, Phyllis was the daughter of Emerson Grace and Alma Wilson. She attended Stamford High School.
Over the years, Phyllis wore many hats and honed several skills. Most recently, Phyllis worked as a home health aide, where she developed an unbreakable bond and friendship with her client.
Phyllis enjoyed cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Phyllis is predeceased by both of her parents and her brother, Jeffrey Wilson. She is survived by her siblings Melvin (Lisa), Marcia (Charlie), Jennifer, Loren (Denise) and fifteen nieces and nephews.
In addition, Phyllis is proudly survived by her children, Brian (Melissa) of Homer, NY, Melissa of Stratford, CT, Phil (Christina) of Norwalk, CT, Joseph Jr. (Michelle) of Stamford, CT, and Mary (Brian) of Monroe, CT.
Phyllis is also survived by her nine grandchildren - Dante, Kayla, Nichole, Tyler, Patrick, Rylie, Raegan, Joey, Lillian and one great grandson. They were and always will be her greatest source of pride and happiness.
A visitation for Phyllis will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 (203)-359-9999. A funeral service will immediately follow, starting at 12:00 pm. Internment following the funeral will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Phyllis' honor to the The Bennet Cancer Center at Stamford Health, located at 1 Hospital Plaza, Stamford, CT.
