Mark Edward Maples, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and partner, passed away on November 16, 2023, in Palm Harbor, Florida. Born on March 28, 1965, in Detroit, Michigan, Mark was known for his vibrant personality, kind nature and creative spirit.
Mark was the cherished son of Carolyn Fischl and William Edward Maples (deceased) and a loving brother to Amy Wiley. He shared a special bond with his brother-in-law, Bob Wiley, and his two delightful nieces, Sage and Sienna Wiley. His mother's second marriage brought two more siblings into Mark's life, Franz Fischl and Sasha Camyn, with whom he shared many memorable moments. Mark also leaves behind his devoted girlfriend, Sherry Pierce, who was his rock and confidante in many life's adventures.
Mark was a hardworking man who dedicated 35+ years of his life to working as an industrial electrician. His colleagues respected him for his diligence, work ethic, and the positive energy he brought to the workplace. Mark's hands were not just skilled in his trade; they were also talented in crafting intricate woodwork, a hobby he loved and excelled in.
One could not talk about Mark without mentioning his love for music. Music was an integral part of his life. He was often the life of the party, bringing joy and laughter with his funny anecdotes and infectious love for life.
Mark was a lover of the outdoors. He cherished the time he spent in his birthplace, Michigan, where he would often escape to enjoy the state's beautiful landscapes. Mark's love for nature was evident in his passion for hiking, fishing, and simply spending time in the open air, appreciating the world's beauty.
Mark was a man of many talents, but what stood out the most was his loving nature. He had a way of making everyone feel comfortable and cherished. He was known for his creativity, both in his professional life and his hobbies. His funny nature could light up a room, and his loving personality made him a joy to be around. He was the kind of person who made a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Mark Edward Maples will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched with his love, laughter, and creativity. His legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him, reminding them to live each day with joy, love, and a touch of humor.

MARK always compelled me with great passion to get my butt out by the Anna Maria water and go fishing !!!!! Cast net, bottom fishing, float, whatever, everything, just go !!!
Now I will go, expecting peace by nature and by the Spirit. NOW I AM GOING FISHING FOR REMEMBERING MARK ALSO. Mark was our Thanksgiving cook specialist with deep fryer and peanut oil, Mama came and enjoyed also !
Mark would do my remote valve controls inside the PLC from his desk whenever I needed a work around for my calibration checks.
I traded my Michigan travel stories with him and he knew where I had been.
New Holland , the famous Mackinaw bridge and marina at the north end.
