It is with a great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother and loving father Mark A Marrero on August 5th 2024 in Stamford Ct. He was born in Norwalk and left this earth at the age of 60. He was preceded by his father Gerardo Marrero Sr and his mother Justina Ortiz Marrero, a sister, Hilda Ortiz and brothers Gerardo Jr Eriberto and Felipe and survived by his son Mark Jr of Westport sisters Juanita(Fermin)Spring Hill, Fl Maritza(William)Justina(Luis) both of Norwalk and many nieces and nephews and cousins and uncle, former wife Mary and a sister in law, Abby.
Mark was a avid baseball and softball player and loved the New York Yankees and a love of music playing his guitar to Hall and Oats and the Beatles and a funny person knowing every line of the Honeymooners and Abbot and Costello.
However his life was full of struggles and hardships and happy times too, the proudest moment when he became a father. he never lost his faith in God and he as well as his family are grateful to all the Angels who helped him along the way the many ER staff, social workers and program counselors who were there for him in his time of need.
Peace be with you.
