Reggie Mark McElreath, 59, of Gainesville, TX, passed away August 5, 2025 at Medical City Heart and Spine in Dallas, TX. He was born on December 3, 1965 in Sherman, TX to Wanda McElreath Miller.
Mark attended Gainesville High School. After graduating he went to work at Benihana in Dallas, then went to work at Peterbilt, where he worked for over 20 years. Mark attended First Baptist Church of Gainesville. He was a devoted fan of the Texas Longhorns and San Francisco 49ers.
Mark is survived by: his mother Wanda McElreath Miller; son Ragon McElreath; daughter ReeseAnne McElreath; sisters Jennifer Presson (Will) and Shawn Marie Edington; grand aunt Ruth Morris; and dear friends Tommy and Vanessa Myers.
Mark was preceded in death by: stepfather Lowell Miller; and grandparents Ragon and Dee McElreath.
Serving as pallbearers are: Mark Kuatz, Craig Nybro, Bret Cason, Wayne Harris, Joe Evans, and Johnny Hunter. Recognized as honorary pallbearers are: Tommy Meyer, Keith Hunt, Tucker Crenshaw, and Doug Lockhart.
The family will receive friends at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service for Mr. McElreath will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Morrow Cemetery in Muenster, TX.
