Mark Steven Miller, 67, of Iowa City, died on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics.

A time to celebrate Mark's life will be from 4:00-6:00pm on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City.

Mark was born on May 10, 1958, in Iowa City, the son of Leonard and Florence (Murphy) Miller. After graduating from high school, Mark went into the Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1978.

Mark was a wanderer. Mark was carefree and kind by nature, with a generous heart. Mark loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing. He sought adventure, traveling across the states in his younger years. He especially liked his time living in Arizona and Utah.

He had a wonderful sense of humor, always able to put a smile on your face. He cared deeply for his circle of friends. He loved all pets, especially his beloved cat, The Manx.

Mark believed in supporting small local businesses and community services for people in need. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed toward R Place Peer Recovery Center, Iowa City, Shelter House or the Friends of the Animal Center Foundation.

Mark is survived by Beth Gauger, Ronald Graham and many other dear friends. He was preceded by his parents, Leonard and Florence Miller and brother Michael Miller.

Online condolences and memories may be shared on Mark's Tribute Wall.
