Mark was born in Alexandria, VA and spent the first eight years of his life in Canberra, Australia and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The family returned to the states in 1965. Mark attended Fairfax Elementary, Robert Frost Middle School and Woodson High School before graduating from McDonough in Owings Mills, MD where he played Varsity Basketball and was a member of the Chess Club, American Film Theater and starred in the Senior Follies.
After several years in San Francisco CA, northern VA, and DC, Mark moved to Atlanta, GA in 1983 where he worked in the automotive business and prided himself on providing excellent customer service.
Mark loved his cars and his cats. He was an avid civil war and history buff, collected coins and stamps, wrote poetry and loved music. His stories and conversations were often peppered with lyrics from his favorite songs.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Helena Morgan, and his brother, Steve. Mark is survived by his sister, Eva.
