Dennis Warren Herzig beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2025 at his home in Dale City.
He was born October 18th,1952 in Alexandria Virginia, the second child and only boy of Warren (Buck) Herzig and Nancy Gass Herzig. He graduated from W. T. Dennis loved music and played guitar; his tastes were wide from classic rock to classic country. He also loved his family, friends, golden retrievers, fishing, Nascar and the outdoors.
He is survived by his sisters Carol Sliver, Sherry Elder (Bruce), nieces Jennifer Hinkle (Eric) and Rebecca Knupp (Ray), nephews David Herzig (Jamie), Blake Elder and Robert Elder along with great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to honor his life will be held at a later date.
