Peggy Herzig

1958 - 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peggy Herzig, age 67, who went to be with the Lord on December 22, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her. Peggy was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was one of the most kind, caring, and loving people anyone could ever know, and her loss leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of all who loved her.

Peggy was born on March 20, 1958, in Boulder, Colorado. She devoted her life to serving others through her work in healthcare and caregiving. She loved line dancing, bingo, and crocheting, and treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband, Jim Herzig; her children, Tabatha and her husband Donald, Stacy and her husband Chris, and sons Sean and Jason; and her stepchildren, Jim Jr. and his wife Lynda, Julie and her husband Dave, and Jeffrey and his wife Jamie. She is also survived by her sisters, Dorothy and Laurie, and her brother, Tommy.

She leaves behind her grandchildren, Andrew, Mason, Kayden, Hunter, Justine, Charlie, Aiden, Chayce, Peyton, Jesse, Kate, Cooper, Kendall, Zack, and Ally, whom she loved dearly.

Peggy is also survived by her best friend, Linda, with whom she shared a special bond. She was preceded in death by her parents, Yvonne and Ted Melvin, and her brother, Doug.

A funeral will be held on January 2, 2026, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, located at 402 Waugoo Ave., Oshkosh, WI 54901. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by a service at 1:00 p.m.

Her words, "I love and miss you bunches and bunches," will live in our hearts forever.
