Mark Kevin Murray, 67, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on August 11, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born November 30, 1957, to Charles Murray and Marcella Schmuelling, Mark lived every one of his years with laughter that filled a room, a generous heart, and love for life.
Mark grew up on the West Side of Cincinnati and graduated from Oak Hills High School. He spent his working life as an insulator with Asbestos Workers Local 8, where he was proud to be a lifelong dues-paying member. He also celebrated a remarkable 50 years with the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Mark built a life rooted in hard-work. He loved woodworking, cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals and being surrounded by the people he loved most. He adored his fur grand-babies, often sneaking them hot dogs. Most of all, Mark loved spending time with his children, Kevin and Kristina, always reminding them with his unforgettable line, “Who loves ya, kid?”
He is survived by his children, Kevin (Kate) Murray and Kristina (Haston) Murray; his siblings, Sharon Murray and Shawn (Theresa) Murray; his late sister, Cathleen Fink (Brian) Jennings; his beloved nieces and nephews who knew him as “Uncle Mark”; and a circle of friends who will never forget him. He is also remembered by his former wife, Sharon “Sparky” Murray.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 9–11 a.m. at Radel Funeral & Cremation Service, 650 Neeb Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45233. A graveside service will be at noon at St. Joseph New Cemetery. Also, a reception to follow. Flowers are welcome in celebration of Mark’s life.
