Mark Ernest Needs

Mark Ernest Needs, age 64, of Logan, Ohio, was born on June 30, 1961, and passed away on February 4, 2026, peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Mark is survived by his devoted wife, Cheryl Needs; his sons, Jason (Liz) Needs and Jesse Needs; and his grandsons, Nathalob Needs and Ryder Needs. Siblings, Steve Needs, Nancy Needs Moore, Danny (Peggy) Needs. Many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many family members and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Ralph Needs, and his son, Matthew Needs.

Mark was the most devoted, loving and kind husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was always there for anyone who needed him, offering help, support, and a listening ear. He had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding quads, and spending time outside with his family and friends.

Mark spent many years driving truck for his brother Danny and later worked for Saddle Creek Logistics/Mesilla Valley Transportation, where he truly loved his work family and took great pride in his work.

Above all, Mark cherished time spent with his family and friends. His warmth, generosity, and steady presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 21, 2026, at Venue on the Hill 14793 Cohagen Road Logan, Ohio 43138 from 1pm – 5pm. We will have a ceremony at 2:30pm to honor Mark.
