Mark Grayson Oleson was born March 13, 1955 in Dallas, Texas to Walter Garland Oleson & Mary Anne Norwood Oleson and passed away December 30, 2025 in Royse City, Texas.

Mark retired as a night vision goggle engineer after 47 years. He proudly served his community as a lifetime member of the Garland Jaycees and a lifetime member of the Texas JCI Senate as Senator #36811. During this time he held the office of Area VP for the Texas Jaycees, multiple offices for the Garland Jaycees, and won several awards including the George O Wilson for Texas as outstanding President for the Garland Jaycees. He dedicated his time to events like the Garland Jaycee Jubilee, Labor Day Parade, and holiday baskets. He was the Director for the Garland Junior Miss Scolarship Program and the Miss Garland Pageant for many years. He loved his Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and singing karaoke. He married his high school sweetheart on June 28, 2003. Mark was an incredible daddy, peepaw, husband, brother, and friend. He always went above and beyond for everyone he loved, especially his girls. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Delia Fran Oleson; children: Anetia Charis Guilbault & husband David, Julie Anne Stevens & husband Terry, Chance Chase Syme & husband Dexter; siblings: Stephen Bruce Oleson & wife Jackie Jane, Leisa Charis Peebles & husband Greg, Roger Eric Oleson & wife Janice; grandchildren: Grayson Paul Stevens, Juston Blake Stevens, Brittany Alexander, Nicholas Landen Guilbault, Mark Riley Guilbault; numerous other family members and friends. Mark was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Tara Pauline Lydy. Memorial service will be held 1:00PM Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Williams Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the Texas Jaycee Foundation, the The Parkinson's Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
