My heart goes out to the family and friends. I just found out that Mark had passed. He was a true pioneer in veterinary business and I have benefitted from his knowledge and expertise through the years. Thank you Mark. God bless.

Mark Opperman helped all of us veterinarians realize we can practice smarter and harder... and most importantly, our value should not be downplayed by the dollars we ask for our services. He knew that we veterinarians offered THE best service of any medical profession, and we deserved to be compensated for that.
May his family find peace of knowing of the encouragement he gave to all those he worked with and encouraged. He will be greatly missed.

Mr. Opperman was a wonderful and inspirational person. I've attended many of his seminars and he did consulting work for my hospital. He was a blessing to so many people, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Angie Rogers, Hospital Director, East Brainerd Animal Hospital

Seth, Aaron and Chelsea-I am sending love and peace your way as you process life without your strong, loving father. I'll always remember his steadfastness and gentle strength. It was obvious that he most enjoyed being home with his family and teaching you kids about life. Hold onto the many memories as you continue through life making him proud as he watches you from Heaven. God Bless You!

I’ll always remember Mark for his kindness, intelligence, accomplishments, and generosity. He loved Sheila ardently; supported her unfailingly; expressed such pride in his sons, Seth and Aaron; and delighted in being a grandfather. He relished his travels with Sheila and the adventures they shared in faraway places, but he also appreciated the pleasures of their being back home with their dogs and cats. When I last saw him, in September, he and I talked seriously about life, and I’m comforted in knowing he was able to live well, with dignity and fortitude.

Mark came and consulted at my clinic! He gave me so many good ideas as a beginning Practice Manager!
