Mark K. Ott, 69, of Kipton, passed away at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk Sunday, March 15, 2026. Mark was born in Norwalk, December 6, 1956, to Arnold "Joe" and Martha Ott, and grew up in New London, graduating from New London High School Class of 1976.
Mark worked in the maintenance department at Green Circle Growers and retired in 2022 after 38 years with the company. He also served as an electrician for the Lorain County Fairgrounds and was a member of the Wellington American Legion Post 8.
He loved fishing, barbequing and mowing his lawn. Mark could often be found relaxing on his porch or sitting by a fire.
He leaves behind his companion of 32 years, Joanne Marchand; siblings, Arnold "Butch" (Janet) Ott, Kevin (Becky) Ott, Judy (Mike) Moffit; stepchildren, Dan (Julie) and Steven (Bobbi) Marchand; nephews, A.J. (Courtney) Ott, Quinn (Michelle) Thomas, Seth (Autumn) Thomas, Ethan (Jenny) Ott, Dustin (Leslie) Ott, Trevor (Jenn) Ott, Michael (Monica) Moffit; and nieces, Amy Ott, Janet Kraus.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold "Joe" and Martha Ott and stepson, Andy Marchand.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2026, at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington, where funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2026. Burial will follow at Camden Twp. Cemetery.
Donations are encouraged to American Heart Association in memory of Mark.
