Mark A. Perry, born December 2, 1955, in Georgetown, Kentucky to Jesse and Lucille Anderson Perry passed away peacefully into heaven surrounded by loved ones on July 16, 2025. He was a retired police officer and avid truck puller for over 50 years making many friends over the years. Mark was also a member of Grace Christian Church and member of the FOP. He was a loving son, husband, brother, stepfather, grandfather and friend to many. Mark will be lovingly remembered by the love of his life, Johnny Perry, his sister, Wanda Hamilton, and his beloved dog, Oliver. He is also survived by one niece, Christy Combs, his two stepdaughters, Christina (Eric) Jolly, Heather (Philip) Powell, three granddaughters, Alyssa Jolly, McKenzie Jolly and Carmen Powell, two great nephews, Zac (Myka) Humphrey, and Colton Combs (Kaylee), his great niece, Karli (Brandon) Pennington and a myriad of lifetime special friends and some he considered sons. Besides his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his niece, Bobbi Humphrey. As in life he is helping others by being an organ donor. A visitation will be held Monday, July 21, 2025, at Grace Christian Church from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Dr. Dan Jackson officiating the service at Grace Christian Church. Inurnment will follow at a later date to Masonic Cemetery in Stamping Ground, KY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mark's name to Gathering Place Mission, Fallen Officers Trust Fund, Toys for Tots or the Humane Society of your choice. Friends and family are encouraged to share memories or messages of condolences here on Mark's tribute wall.
