Mark William Pugmire, born on May 7, 1961, in Flint, Michigan, passed away on June 11, 2025. He was the beloved son of the late Raymond Arthur and Darlene Marie Pugmire. Mark grew up in Lake Fenton, Michigan, where he developed a love for biking through the neighborhood from a young age. One of his favorite memories was when his mom would fill his bike basket with fresh vegetables from her garden for him to sell to neighbors. The community adored both the produce and Mark himself-he often returned home with far more money than expected. Summers were filled with joy as he spent time boating and swimming in the lake. In 1980, Mark and his family relocated to Cocoa Beach, Florida, embracing the Space Coast as their new home. Mark quickly connected with others, continuing to make new friends and spreading joy to everyone he met. Mark had a deep appreciation for life and a remarkable gift for storytelling. His vivid memories of childhood, shared with humor and heart, never failed to bring smiles and warmth to those around him. Mark will be deeply missed by his brothers, Clark and Scott Pugmire; his nieces, Jordyn Pugmire, Amanda (Donald) Sexton, and Olivia (Darren) Weiser; and his nephews, Connor Pugmire, Jackson Pugmire, and Evan Pugmire. The family wishes to offer their deepest gratitude to the many caregivers who worked tirelessly with Mark throughout his journey. Their compassion, devotion, and gentle presence were true reflections of God's love, bringing light and peace into his life. Their kindness will remain a lasting blessing, and the care they gave will never be forgotten. Mark was truly graced with the love and support of these extraordinary souls. A private celebration of Mark's life will be held at the convenience of the family.
