Obituary Patricia Pugmire
Patricia Pugmire, 79, of Blackfoot, Idaho, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
Patricia was born September 14, 1945 in Blackfoot, Idaho, the daughter of David Lamond and Frances Ruth Hawkes Scott.
Patricia spent her lifetime in Blackfoot where she attended school, graduating from Snake River High School. She was athletic and enjoyed participating in tumbling. She continued her education by training in cosmetology.
On August 29, 1964, she married David Allen Pugmire in the Idaho Falls Temple. David preceded her in death in 2003.
Patricia worked as a sales clerk at Scotty's Market in Riverside and also as a cook and janitor with the Snake River school district. Later, she worked for Cushman's Crafts.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as librarian for many years and in the Primary in the nursery.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking, gardening and canning. She always had strawberries for the grandkids, but hated them. She also enjoyed doing genealogy and scrapbooking.
Patricia is survived by her children, Robyn (Brad Draper) Pugmire of Buhl ID, Jeffery (Tammy) Pugmire of Riverside ID, Alycia Beasley of Burley ID, Joe (Liza) Pugmire of Arco ID and Jason (Jennifer) Pugmire of Riverside ID; siblings Donald (Carolyn) Scott, Geraldine "Jeri" (Dennis) McBride, Rusty (Peggy) Scott, Sharla (Mike) Mickelson and Barry (Raela) Scott; sister in law Joslyn Scott, Pingree ID, 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Pugmire; sister Sandra Hieb and brother, Alec Scott.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at the Blackfoot Northwest Stake Center, 740 West 100 North. The family will meet with friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave. in Blackfoot and again on Wednesday at the church for an hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.
