Mark Wayne Pujol, born in Salisbury, North Carolina on March 10, 1959, son of the late Mason Wayne and Doris Ann Mowry Pujol, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the age of sixty-five.
Mark graduated from Iowa High School in 1978, he was first chair trumpet and baritone for high school band. He also graduated from Sowela, receiving a machinist degree. Mark owned and operated Universal Machine and Fabrication of Lake Charles for 28 years. He enjoyed ATV riding, duck hunting, fishing, helping others and hanging out with good people. Mark was a jack of all trades, master of none.
He is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Beverly Ann Musk Pujol of Lake Charles; sons: Mitchel Wayne Pujol and Trista of Holmwood, Wesley Scott Pujol and Tracie of Lake Charles; grandchildren: Haley Pujol, Dillon Pujol, Damon Pujol, Alizabeth Parker, Alexis Richmond, John Richmond, Jr; brother: Micheal Wayne Pujol; nephew: Mica Loren Pujol.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 6:30 p.m., Rev. Kennith Adamson, celebrant. A gathering of friends and family will begin in the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6:30 p.m. As per his request, his cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
