Mark Dwayne Richards

Mark Dwayne Richards, age 58 of Hardinsburg, KY, passed away October 26, 2025, at Baptist Health Louisville. He was born in Owensboro, KY on December 8, 1966, son of the late Aulton Ray and Thelma Burch Richards. Mark was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church and a sales associate with Dan Powers GM Center. He was a car man – sell them, drive them and watch them race. He enjoyed fishing, drag racing and traveling. Mark was a simple man who loved his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Carl Anthony Richards.
Mark is survived by 3 children: Stephen Richards (Kate) of Vine Grove, KY
Sarah Richards (Dalton Duff) of Louisville, KY
Macie Richards of Hardinsburg, KY
4 grandchildren: Declan, Nolan, Luna and Aulton
Companion: Lisa Hurt of Hardinsburg, KY
His daughter's pet: Lucian – better known as "Cat Dog".
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 11 AM with burial in the St. Romuald Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 3:30 – 8 PM and Thursday after 8:30 AM. All times are central.
