Mark S. Rodenbucher, age 60, passed away on February 22, 2025, after a long battle with heart disease. He was born in Akron on March 13, 1964, to George and Barbara Rodenbucher. He was a 1983 East High School graduate, chang-rah! Mark married Tammi Dresko on December 4, 1993, and were life-long residences of Akron. He worked with Mid-Ohio Forklift and was a life-long mechanic. Mark enjoyed fly-fishing. He was a history buff, focusing on WWII and Vietnam. Above all, he loved being home with his wife and his two fur babies. He was a great husband, son, brother and friend.
Mark is survived by his wife Tammi Rodenbucher; his mother Barbara Rodenbucher; sisters Kristine (Bill) Meiners, Tina (Larry) Musci; sisters-in-law Bobbi (Dennis) Shaffer, and Lisa Isbell; mother-in-law Glenda Dresko; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father George Rodenbucher, father-in-law Robert Dresko, and brother-in-law Edward Isbell.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. - noon on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home with a service to follow at noon. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Mogadore.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wounded Warriors or your local ASPCA.
