Mark C. Schultz, age 65, of Rochester, Michigan, passed away on October 4, 2025. A lifelong automotive enthusiast, Mark built his career in metal stamping sales, where his dedication and knowledge made a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike.
Mark had a true passion for cars - from the sleek elegance of Ferraris to the timeless roar of classic hot rods. He was a familiar face at local car shows and swap meets, where his sharp eye and deep love for vintage vehicles earned him a community of loyal friends and fellow enthusiasts. His beloved dogs, Gringo and Enzo, were constant companions and a reflection of his spirited personality.
He is predeceased by his parents William and Barbara Schultz, and his brother Jeff (Kim) Schultz. Mark is survived by his deeply devoted sister Lynn (Rick) Knill, as well as his nieces nephews, Natalee (Kyle) Allington, Andrew (Amanda) Knill, Amy (Tony) Szalanski and Ryan (Christina) Schultz, and many great-nieces and great-nephews who brought joy to his life. Mark also leaves behind his dear friend Lisa Leto, whose enduring friendship meant the world to him, as well as countless classic car buddies who shared in his passion and camaraderie.
Mark will be remembered for his wit, his stories, and his generous spirit - always ready with a laugh, a memory, or a wrench to lend, but seldom to use.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 15, 3:00-8:00pm at Wujek~Calcaterra & Sons, 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. (SHELBY TOWNSHIP). Instate 10:30am followed by a 11:00am Mass on October 16, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood Ave, Rochester, MI 48307.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to a local animal rescue or classic car preservation society of your choice.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
