I enjoyed working with Dr Scott, he was a positive and amazing mentor and care giver to all of his patients and staff, So much support for Patty and his entire family. It is difficult, but with love and time. It becomes better. I just lost my husband recently and it is slow but improving, remember all the good memories!!Praying for all of you!!!

For many years I had the privilege and honor of working with Mark at West Florida Hospital. I was always impressed with Mark´s medical knowledge and his compassion for not only his patients but also for the staff. I remember many difficult cases working with Mark and always respected his opinion. Mark was an avid photographer and I always marveled over his beautiful photos he would take on his trips. Although Mark is no longer here his presence will always be with us.

Dear Patty,
My heart aches for you. Mark was an incredible person. He was a mentor to me and I was lucky to know and care for you both. Mark was kind. He helped me get to the hospital during that ice storm 10 years ago. I was 9 months pregnant and wobbly without the ice. He was so encouraging to me during my first years of practice. He stood by me when I asked for help getting nails out of the stomach on call in the er. I was lucky to know him. If you are ever in Jacksonville please let me know.
Patty, I hope you live and enjoy. I can´t imagine what you are feeling. Sending prayers for peace and calmness.

In loving memory of a wonderful, caring Physician .. Dr. Scott you will be tremendously missed in the hallways of HCA.. You were one of the most caring, gentlest humans I know! In all my years of walking these hallways and being out in the community I have never heard a negative comment concerning you.. they were always positive and uplifting! The staff here will remember you always! Prayers for your family during these most difficult times! ~Tammy Denson
