Mark Henry Sirois

Mark Henry Sirois, 74 of Orange City, Florida passed away September 3, 2024 in care of the Lord, his family and the compassionate staff at Halifax Health Hospice.
Mark was born January 5, 1950 in Portland Oregon, the third child of Oliver and Kathryn (Warg) Sirois and grew up with 3 brothers, Jeffrey, Wayne and Kerry who he will join again in heaven.
Mark graduated from Oregon School for the Deaf in Salem, Oregon. He went on to train to be a Welder and continued working in the field until his retirement in 2008. He enjoyed watching & playing many sports. His favorite teams were from his home state of Oregon – Oregon Ducks, Oregon State Beavers and the Portland Trailblazers. Mark played softball for Miami Association for the Deaf and Bocce Ball for Palm Beach County for the Deaf. He was also an avid bowler and loved traveling to tournaments. Playing poker and card games with his friends was a favorite activity. Another passion was fishing and animals of any kind. He had no fear of catching a wild animal that needed his help. Mark made many new friends when he moved to Central Florida and enjoyed chatting with them over breakfast every Wednesday morning at Boston Coffee House. He loved to tease everyone and make them laugh.
Mark is survived by his wife Janet; 2 beautiful daughters Tami Maund and Stefanie Love; 3 grandchildren Maci, Evan and Allie; and niece and nephews. He was surrounded by the Hunters, his loving extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Volusia County Baptist Church, 261 S. Orange Ave, Orange City, FL 32763 The family request any donations please be made to Volusia County Baptist Church Deaf Ministry.
