Mr. Mark Anthony Smith, 66, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026, at his home. He was born April 4, 1959, in Forsyth County, NC to the late Carlton Oakley Smith and Opal Marie Jones Smith. Mark owned and operated Mark A. Smith Repair. In his spare time, he enjoyed racing, boating, and going to Smith Mountain Lake. Mark served his country in the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Steve Oakley Smith. Mark is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Judy Duggins Smith; five children, Shana Dawson (Brian), Travis Smith (Jessica), Karen Harrison (Matt), Irvin Johnson (Renee) and Tammy Flowers (Jeff); seven grandchildren, Conner Smith, Bristol Smith, Justin Harrison, Brittany VonCannon, Tyler Johnson, Brittany Huffman, and Kayla Smith; five great-grandchildren, Oliver, Bella, Liam, Beckham, and Aiden; sister, Angie Smith; brother, Alan Smith; two nieces, Paige Smith and Kimberly Bowman; nephew, Aaron Smith; brother-in-law, Cecil Duggins (Jackie); and sister-in-law, Sharon Niles. A graveside service will be conducted at 11a.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Crestview Memorial Park with Pastor Greg Hall officiating.
