Mark D. Soli age 59 of Skanee, MI passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital, L'Anse with his loving family by his side. He was born in L'Anse on June 18, 1965, the son of Donald and Shirley (Koski) Soli. Mark graduated from L'Anse High School in 1983. He had retired after 35 years of employment with CertainTeed, L'Anse as an assistant pulp mill operator. Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, taking rides in the woods, being on the Lake, and going shopping.
Mark is survived by his loving children Amber (Tony) Loonsfoot of Baraga, Ashley (Kyle) Seppanen of L'Anse, and Kyle Soli (Autmn Haataja) of Baraga, stepson Ryan Connor of Skanee, grandchildren Kadynce Loonsfoot, Aaliyah Loonsfoot, Kyah Loonsfoot, Ryker Ahola, Rylee Soli, and Xander Seppanen, mother Shirley Soli of Aura, MI, brother Glen (Sally) Soli of Florida, sister Gail Hollon of Skanee, his significant other Tammy Hollon of Skanee, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, He was preceded in death by his father Donald, brother-in-law Dale, stepson Justin, and his dog Junior.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 20, 2024 at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L'Anse with Pastor Aaron Lindholm officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Immediately following the services, the family invites friends to join them for a potluck luncheon at Scotty's Pub, L'Anse. Food items for the luncheon can be dropped off at Scotty's on Friday morning.
The Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L'Anse has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
