Mark Anthony Summers

Mark Anthony Summers, age 61, of Barbourville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Barbourville ARH Hospital.

Born in Gary, IN, he was the son of the late Joel Summers and Audrey Creel McHargue. Mark worked as a mixer at CTA Acoustics, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.

Mark enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish and hunt whenever he had the chance. He was a natural tinkerer and could often be found in his garage, fixing, building, or working on just about anything. His hands were rarely still, and he took pride in solving problems and helping others with his skills.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph McHargue; sister, Cassie McHargue; and stepfather, George McHargue.

He is survived by his son, Marcus Summers and wife, Kristina; grandchildren, Greysen Summers, Lyeara Summers, and Avellyne Summers; siblings, Bruce Summers, Samantha Summers, and Mary Steagall; life partner, Diana Senters; stepdaughter, Courtney Jordan; and step-nephew, Jeremy Trent and his wife and children.

In accordance with Mark’s wishes, no services are planned at this time.
